Job Description:
Client Global Talent & Development Transformation Programme is a global initiative designed to modernize learning and drive a culture of lifelong learning and is now hiring for a T&D Systems Functional Lead (Learning Systems). The role will report into the T&D Global Technology Engagement Lead and will provide leadership in process analysis, process and system design, system development, configuration, testing, implementation, training for SET are Learning technology solutions and that risk and issues are being actively managed.

Typical Accountabilities:
• Provide functional expertise and understanding of business application for SET area learning tech solutions
• Works to provide a smooth transition from fit gap into product implementation
• Works directly with the business to gather an understanding of their business needs and assists in configuration and implementation of the software
• Actively involved in the design, business requirements and go-live
• Meet with customers and IT project team members to consult, configure, implement and support client requirements
• Ensure accurate daily entries and descriptions are entered into JIRA
• Attend project planning, department and company meetings
• Act as the system ‘Product Owner’ for solutions that are both being implemented and already live
• Engage with business stakeholders to capture user requirements and provide recommendations on system architecture, configuration and usage
• Works with IT and programme stakeholders to determine optimal solution and process design
• Works with the business on the change impacts of system deployments / changes in usage, including deployment plans and potential system rationalisation opportunities
• Supports the development of solution / content migration plans to the Enterprise technologies
• Collaborates effectively with peer T&D Functional Leads, Learning / Development SMEs, Solution Architects and the Technology Lead – managing interdependencies and ensuring a joined up holistic overall solution offering across Learning and Talent processes, and in line with the T&D Technology Roadmap
• Evaluates fit gap with current SET are solutions, working with business stakeholders to determine deployment of new functionality and impacts on end users / support model
• Owns the test strategy and plan for product enhancement releases. Guides test scope / strategy for new solution implementations
• Supports the Training Lead to determine the Training Strategy required for the different stakeholder groups that will interact with newly deployed solutions
• Acts as the solution point person during post go-live Hypercare phases
• Supports multiple application implementations / releases concurrently – effectively managing workload and priorities

Essential Experience:
• Business degree
• Experienced Systems Functional Lead of Learning / Talent & Development systems & project experience (? 5 years)
• Strong networking, communication and relationship-building skills, with experience of collaborating and sharing knowledge between diverse teams
• Excellent business engagement and acumen, with sensitivity to political/economic environment
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex information into business language
• Strong detail orientation
• Proven customer orientated focus
• Experience of working within Matrix project teams, including virtual working with teams across multiple regions
• Effective time management skills – ability to work across multiple projects / BAU accountabilities concurrently

Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA is seeking an online-only adjunct instructor for the 2021 Spring semester (02/10 through 05/17)  for PSYC345_Industrial Organizational Psychology (Class schedule: Mon-Wed 7:00-8:30PM EST). Applicants should have completed their Master's; prior instructional experience is preferred but not required. 

This is a contract position for the semester only, with the possibility to renew for subsequent classes. I already developed a syllabus for the course which, given the short notice of the opening, I would be happy to share.
