(9/01/21) Assessment Practice Consultant, BTS

As a consultant in our Assessment Practice, you will play a significant role in the innovation and development of custom solutions across the talent life cycle for BTS clients.  You’ll also be responsible for working with BTS account executives, and their clients, as an expert in developing assessment solutions that span all BTS practice areas. We’ll expect you to contribute with sharp analysis and agile thinking to support our innovative new best practices and IP that enable us to go succeed in the market.

In this role, your internal and external clients will look to you to display a broad scope of capabilities and in-depth mastery in the assessment center world:

  • Success Profile/Competency Model Development

  • Job Analysis

  • Assessment content design of all types (e.g., exercises, tests, interviews, evaluation forms, feedback reports, etc.)

  • 360 and other survey Development, Administration and Analysis

  • Situation Judgment Test Development

  • Research, White Papers and other relevant publications

  • Statistical Analysis

At minimum, a Consultant level candidate will have a Master’s in I/O Psychology (or related). Senior Consultant level candidates will have at least a Master's - preferably a PhD - with a minimum of three years successfully applying your hard earned credentials in a consulting or corporate environment. 

It is vital for us to find a person with the desire to drive BTS growth by promoting the Assessment Practice’s capabilities. Business acumen, executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills – in a 1:1 setting, or in front of 200+ business leaders – are extremely important.

(8/27/21) IO Psychology Consultant at CIDIS Consulting

 
This position will support the Government by providing Industrial/Organizational Psychology expertise to support the organization’s mission and goals by conducting applied HR research, as well as developing, implementing, and maintaining effective assessments for personnel selection, promotion, career development and organizational effectiveness to support the establishment and maintenance of a quality workforce. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in research studies to evaluate the effectiveness of existing HR systems and tools; consult with or advise management of conclusions and recommendations.
  • Apply knowledge of test theory, psychometric methodology, and statistics to research and analyze HR data related to recruitment, hiring, retention, career development, and workforce analysis.
  • Analyze job requirements (e.g., tasks and competencies) to support development of HR testing and career development tools.
  • Design and draft revisions to policies and operating procedures as they relate to human capital initiatives for Government approval.
  • Draft technical and non-technical reports, briefing slide decks, white papers, memos, and other documentation and deliverables as required.
  • Advise the Government to ensure mandated laws, rules, and regulations are properly assessed for potential impact on work initiatives.
  • Develop and validate personnel assessment tools for selection and/or promotion purposes.
  • Provide project management support involving the resolution of complex issues, establishing and maintaining timelines, monitoring project work activities, and communicating progress and status.
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of data using qualitative and quantitative strategies to draw practical conclusions and answer research questions.
  • Assist in conducting meetings, workshops, trainings, and briefings related to project/program initiatives as required.

Required Qualification:

  • Requires a minimum of six (6) years of experience in in Assessment Development and Validation, Data Analytics, Psychometrics or other relevant technical area with a Master’s in I/O Psychology; or minimum of four (4) years experience with a Ph.D. in I/O Psychology. 
  • Post degree experience should be relevant to the task responsibilities list above.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles, applications, methodologies, theories and standards of personnel research and human resources management, to include knowledge of test theory, psychometric methodology, statistics and research methods to assist in developing Human Resources (HR) assessment tools and related instruments for application to specific and general examining needs.
