Congratulations to Aylin Kaya as this year's recipient of the Jack Bartlett Memorial Award in Psychology! This award was established to honor the memory of Jack Bartlett by supporting graduate students in psychology during the conduct of their dissertation research. This award is made to the student who has submitted the most outstanding doctoral dissertation proposal in the past year.
Aylin is a member of our Counseling Psychology program. Her work examines "Androgyny and Alcohol Use: The role of conformity to feminine and masculine norms in alcohol use among college women". Aylin is mentored by Dr. Derek Iwamoto.
Please join me in congratulating Aylin on this accomplishment. As part of this award, Aylin will present her dissertation work to the department in spring 2018 (date and location TBD).
