Congratulations to Jennifer Brady, the 2019 recipient of the Jack Bartlett Memorial Award in Psychology. This award was established to honor the memory of Jack Bartlett by supporting graduate students in psychology during the conduct of their dissertation research. This award is made to the student who has submitted the most outstanding doctoral dissertation proposal this year.
Brady is a member of our Counseling Psychology program and is mentored by Dr. Derek Iwamoto. Her dissertation proposal is titled "The role of racial objectification on Asian American women's disordered eating and depression: A person-centered approach." As part of this award, Jen will present her dissertation work to the department in spring 2019 (date and location TBD).
