The Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research (CAPER) has many exciting research studies for undergraduate students and volunteers. As a student intern, you will participate in multiple aspects of studies, including assisting with participant recruitment and retention, data management, and administering research and clinical assessments. Students will also gain information and guidance for graduate school as well as opportunities to attend training sessions on data analysis, analyzing scholarly articles, and learn specific structured clinical assessments. More advanced and senior students at CAPER will have an opportunity to conduct their own study and present their findings at a research conference. Undergraduate students can also earn PSYC479 credit for working in the lab.
If you are interested in interning at CAPER, please contact the student coordinator, Nadia Bounoua, at rbounoua [at] umd.edu. In your email, please attach a copy of your unofficial transcript and resume/CV.
