Lori Kader joined the Office of Undergraduate Studies as an Academic Advisor in 2004 and is currently the Associate Director. Lori oversees the academic advising operations for the department, including general guidance, orientations for new majors, study abroad, permission to enroll, exceptions to policy, and appeals. She also serves as the advisor for the Neuroscience Minor and the PSYC Honors Program. Lori has spent her 30 year career working with college students. She previously worked at American University as a Counselor in the Academic Support Center and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a LD/ADHD Specialist in the Learning Disabilities Services program. Lori’s distinguished service to our students was recognized with BSOS 2009 Outstanding Undergraduate Advisor Award and the 2017 BSOS Outstanding Staff Award. Lori is a proud Maryland alum as well as the parent of 2 TERP grads!
