Bob Slevc is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Psychology, as well as part of the Program in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (NACS) and the Maryland Language Science Center. He received his Ph.D. at the University of California, San Diego and was a postdoctoral scholar at Rice University before coming to UMD. His research focuses on the cognitive mechanisms involved in the processing of language and of music in both normal and brain-damaged populations.

Dr. Slevc is not recruiting PhD students for Fall 2025.
