  • UMD's Psychology Department Recognized By DORA

UMD's Department of Psychology was recognized by the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) for its innovative research assessment procedures, making it the first (and as of July 2024 the only) academic department in North America to be featured by DORA. DORA was founded in 2012 with the mission of advancing responsible, fair, and robust approaches to assessing research. UMD's Psychology Department was recognized for revamping its policies for hiring, tenure and promotion, and annual review. The full case study can be found on the DORA case studies website.
