Ryan is a fifth-year doctoral student in the University of Maryland Clinical Psychology program, working with Dr. Jack Blanchard in the Laboratory of Emotion and Psychopathology. He received his B.A. in Psychology from DePaul University in 2014, his M.P.S. in Clinical Psychological Science from the University of Maryland in 2019, and his M.S. in Clinical Psychology in 2022. Prior to joining the lab, Ryan worked in outpatient mental health roles as both a Homeless Outreach Specialist and Community Support Specialist in Washington, DC. Ryan joined the LEAP lab in 2018 as a full-time research assistant and spent two years studying social affiliative deficits in psychosis. Ryan’s current research interests include the comorbidity on chronic medical conditions in psychosis and developing holistic interventions to address mental and physical health.
