Bella is a first-year doctoral student in the Developmental Psychology program under the mentorship of Dr. Tracy Riggins. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2020. After graduation, Bella worked as a research assistant for Dr. Alec Solway, researching how decision-making and memory is affected in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder at UMD. She also worked as an MRI Operator at UMD's Maryland Neuroimaging Center and as a research assistant for Dr. Nathan Fox on a team examining the neural origins of anxiety disorders and the neurobiological differences that are associated with fearful temperaments in infancy.
