Bio
Ty A. Robinson (He/Him) is a Counseling Psychology Ph.D. student and research assistant in the Restoring H.O.P.E. Research Lab with Dr. Terrill Taylor. He earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of North Texas and further enhanced his skills with an Ed.M. in counseling, specializing in sport psychology, from Boston University.

Ty is currently an APA Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services predoctoral fellow with the Minority Fellowship Program, was named the 2023 Dalmas A. Taylor Memorial Summer Minority Policy Fellow with the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, and has had the opportunity to attend the week-long Psychological Summer Institute. He is also the founder of the Counselors of Color in Training Organization (COCITO), a community group that supports Boston University counseling students' training and cultural experiences.
