I am a first-year graduate student in the Counseling Psychology program. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.

My research interests lie at the intersection of queer identity and well-being, with a focus on intersections of religious identity and how people navigate multiple minority identities and identities that are socio-politically conflicting/not welcomed or affirmed. I also have an interest in the tensions between essentialism and social constructionism, and how we can include queer theory to better understand and more responsibly use research.
