Erin Hill is a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology. Her faculty advisor is Dr. Karen O’Brien. Erin received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Maryland and is excited to be returning to UMD to continue her education. During her undergraduate career, she developed and tested the efficacy of an online intervention designed to improve undergraduate students’ communication with their grieving peers.
Her research interests include disenfranchised grief, end-of-life care, and the intersection of cultural identity and bereavement.
