Karoline Trovato (she/her) is a doctoral student in counseling psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD). Her faculty advisor is Dr. Karen O'Brien. Karoline received her bachelor of science at UMD in psychology with high honors and with a minor in Sustainability. During her undergraduate career, she developed and evaluated the efficacy of an online intervention designed to improve college women's knowledge and confidence when communicating with a romantic partner and to empower young women to make thoughtful choices regarding their future partner. Her research interests broadly include the intersection of family and work management with women's career aspirations and mental health, women's vocational psychology, and intimate partner violence.
